Well 2G plan in 3G speed is really working here in MP and other states i used it since Dec 2012- 2013 Till Now

 Steeps:-

1) Recharge Rs 5 3G plan thru *141# (gives 50 MB 3g data.... i rech it through DATACARD)

2) Then simply dial *141*1026# (gives 1 GB gprs data for 7 days)

3) Total amt= 5+26 = Rs. 31 (you should have this much Amount  in yor  mobile balance for recharge ... plus extra minimum Rs. 1 balance)

That's it, you got 1074MB Data which run on 3G speed (not on 2G speed / Upto 1Mbps). I experimented it, and got upto 1 Mbps Speed
i.e. 10 mb file in just 10 sec
